From The Moon to Mars! (Artemis Mission Timeline)

To revive human exploration into deep space, it’s only natural that we learn more about our Moon before we venture further out of our Solar System. It’s been 50 years since we’ve sent astronauts into deep space, so these Moon missions will help scientists and engineers to develop and improve current infrastructures and systems for deep space travel (Creech et al., 2022). By studying geology and collecting samples from the Moon’s surface, we can learn more about “planetary processes, the impact history of our Earth-Moon system, and the history of our Sun” (Creech et al., 2022).

I attached an infographic that I made for the Artemis mission. All the information on this infographic can be found on NASA’s website!
